City Projects approved

The City Council approved the following projects to the lowest bidder.

Culvert installation in conjunction with the Weber Basin Connection Project to Rock Art Works in the amount $12,199.00  This will be at approximately 800 W. and 2550 N.

City office re-roof project was awarded to Dean Stokes Construction in the amount of $27,500.

2017 Street Maintenance Project to Advanced Paving and Construction in the amount of $488,988.  The majority of the work will be concentrated up on the hill above Weber High School.  Once I have a chance, I will post the streets, intersections and work.

Evergreen Storm Drain By-Pass was awarded to Mike Humphreys Construction in the amount of $136,430.  This will be on the lowest section of Evergreen Rd. to Pleasant View Dr, Pleasant View Dr going East towards 1100 W. to pick up a storm line, then remove the connections from the canal and connect to the pipe to go under the canal.

4300 N Road Construction project was awarded to E.K. Bailey Construction in the amount of $821,583.64 to go from 300 W. to 500 W. This will also include a water main, storm sewer line, retaining wall for the property on the South West corner of 500 W. and 4300 N. along with the other associated items.

The bid for the City Shop Bay on the West side of the Public Works Complex was rejected to the price of the lowest bid.
