Pleasant View almost became Business UNFRIENDLY!

At the August 27th. Council meeting we had a few final approvals for some development in the City.
The biggest item on the agenda, as you may have read in the newspaper, was a developer who had received approval from the Planning Commission, the previous City Council, gone through the Public Hearing process and was given a Development Agreement by our City Council and signed by the Mayor.  When this resident came back in to work on the final process to proceed, he was told he would have to start over, even with the Development agreement which stated extensions would be given.  We listen to the staff and developer and voted 3 - 2 (Councilman Burns and Councilman Boehme voting against) to let the developer continue as outlined in the development agreement.
